Belfast

An intriguing destination for travellers from around the world, Belfast is the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland, is also a centre of Irish culture and has been voted the fourth best city in the UK for a city break in the Guardian/Observer Travel Awards.

Getting There & Around
George Best Belfast City Airport (airport code: BHD) is just two miles from Belfast’s city centre and is a smaller, domestic airport, providing mainly domestic flights across Ireland and the UK (especially Liverpool and London).

Belfast International Airport (airport code: BFS) is located 18 miles northwest of the city centre and serves an extensive range of domestic, European, and international cities, including all London airports.

Meetings & Events
The centrally located multi-purpose Belfast Waterfront is an award-winning arts, conference and entertainment centre has facilities to accommodate a wide variety of business conference and cultural events. Its auditorium has state-of-the-art seating for 2,223 delegates and a range of studios and 14 meeting rooms which provide flexible facilities for up to 380 guests, as well as 27,000 square feet of floor space that can accommodate over 130 exhibition stands. Other large capacity venues in Belfast include the 8,500 seat Odyssey Arena and the 6,000 seat Kings Hall Complex, both excellent for conferences, exhibitions and business events. Belfast’s new £77 million Titanic Visitor Centre complex, which opened in 2012 has attracted more than a million visitors  in the first year, including the Queen.
